As you can imagine, there wasn't a whole lot of news to report in this e-mail, which came only 2 days after we talked to Eric on Mother's Day. I would like to share one story he related.
Hyatu is a man from Afghanistan who comes from a Muslim background. Elders Chan and Hansen met him on the street about 6 months ago. Apparently, about a month later, Hyatu was praying and felt like he should talk to the missionaries again, but didn't know how to find them. Then, last week, he saw them on the bus, approached them and asked them to come teach him. For the protection and safety of both the church and the individual involved, the missionaries have been instructed to tread very carefully when teaching Muslims. President Stock interviewed Hyatu and gave the Elders permission to teach him slowly, which they have begun to do. I'll try to report in the future on how this goes.
